My company does not use GP field service anymore and I would like to remove it from the system. I would also like to quit paying for the renewals. I know I can essentialy disable it but there are several tables, stored procedures and triggers that concen me. Can anyone give me some direction on this?

When running an integration that has 'Destination Settings' defined in it, does the user still need to be logged into GP? If so, into that company?

We have installed the MS Word Add-In for a user, so she can modify forms, etc. However, she cannot access the Tool on the ribbon. We have checked, and made sure that the developer menu is turned on [MS Word 2007]. So far...
Any ideas on why it will not load/run for regular users?

Is the Integration Manager only available for the first couple of months during integration or is it a permanent part of GP 2010 when you are a licensed user?

I'm trying to assist a customer who's GP client on the Citrix server is hanging after having installed Sp3 for Gp2010. The update was installed on the SQL server client and GP launches without a problem there.
I've tried copying the dynamics.dic and dynamics.exe files but issues continues. i tried recreating the reports.dic . I tried copying the entire GP folder but enountered errors.
I've attached a document with screen shots of the error shown in the Event Viewer. I'm wondering if this issue has something to do with the .Net Framework.

I see MR 2012 RU3 has just been released. Can this executable be run just like service pack to MR 2012 R2 or do I need to peform a complete fresh installation of MR 2012 RU3?

I am trying to install eConnect for MS Dynamics GP2010. After all the relevant information that I fill in, it starts to install. A Few seconds later it just ends with a message:
A FATAL ERROR WAS ENCOUNTERED.
"The eConnect for MS Dynamics GP2010 has ended prematurely"
Any idea what would cause this and how I could resolve it.

Hi,
I have developed an integration that creates GL journals in GP but with only two lines, a debit and credit with two different accounts.
How would I go about creating multiple lines per journal, i.e five debit lines and two credit lines?
On integration manager you could create an array of lines for such types of scenarios, I cannot seem to do the same for Journals, please can someone show/tell me what i am doing wrong.

We have two digit after decimal for the unit cost , due some requirements we need to have three digits after decimal. How to change this? If some one knows kindly post answer for this . I will be very thankful.

I have just discovered an issue where when I add a new user...and asign a task such as Inventory Clerk....they have access to the Finacial areas of ...chequebook (showing the bank balance) Budgets...they can export to excel, Cash Flow Calender...and some employee lists and personal information. I am thinking this is the DEFAULTUSER adding these permissions?? when I look at the security tasks ...I cannot see where the access to these functions are?
Can I edit the DEFAULTUSER tasks?? What are the DEFAULTUSER default tasks?

I am trying to set a maxiumum write off to $5 Money Amount when I create customers in the GP Web services and it causes the create event to fail. Has anyone performed this? I just upgraded Management Reporter 2012 to the new RU3. When I went to import a new company I noticed that for all my current companies there was a second company with - Curr preceding it. That is I used to have CW I now have CW and CW-Curr.
Does anyone know what the CW-Curr is all about and should I import it. This happened for all the companies that I have.

I am using taPopRcptLineInsert to build a receiving transaction. If I insert one line item on a receipt it works fine. When I try to add a second line to the same receipt I get an error; 8053 Input variable contains a duplicate document (POPRCTNM). While the error seems to indicate that my problem is that the receipt number of the second is a duplicate of the first, doesn't it need to be if I want to add another line to the same receipt?

I am trying to setup daily integration for our exchange table, but I am getting an unusual error in Integration Manager.

I am, however, able to enter the rates directly into GP.
